The Nvidia GeForce Now Leak a Year Later; List of Expected Game Announcements
Remember the sizable leak related to the GeForce Now service? A few cases have been confirmed, and we're looking at what else is may be waiting in the line. After all, it's been more than a year since the rumor surfaced.
The remnants of the leak regarding the Nvidia GeForce Now service were examined by the editors of Xfire. The rumor appeared on September 12, 2021 and we also wrote about it - here. It concerned a list of games that are allegedly coming to PC. Among them were previously unannounced titles, as well as existing games, but not available on PC. Nvidia addressed the matter, denying the credibility of the list, but time has shown that it may in a way provide an "outline" regarding upcoming titles.
The biggest waves at the time were made by the presence on the list of many exclusive games from Sony. To this day, quite a number of them have actually appeared or have been announced for PC. Among the examples worth mentioning are God of War, Horizon: Zero Dawn or Returnal. One can assume that it will be similar with several others. However, the works of the Japanese giant are not all there is on the list - other publishers can also grace us with exciting games.
Nvidia GeForce Now and the games that have not been confirmed
Below you will find a list of all leaked items that have yet to see a release or even an official announcement. Among them are follow ups of popular series, remasters and, of course, the aforementioned Sony exclusives. There are 23 titles on the list, but add to that an as yet unnamed game from Respawn Entertainment.
- Batman: Arkham Knight RTX Remaster (Warner Bros.)
- BioShock 2022 (Take-Two Interactive)
- BioShock RTX Remaster (Take-Two Interactive)
- Demon's Souls Remake (Sony)
- Endless Legend 2 (SEGA)
- Final Fantasy IX Remake (Square Enix)
- Final Fantasy Tactics Remaster (Square Enix)
- Gears 6 (Microsoft)
- Ghost of Tsushima (Sony)
- Gran Turismo 7 (Sony)
- Halo 5: Guardians (Microsoft)
- Helldivers 2 (Sony)
- Horizon Forbidden West (Sony)
- Injustice 3: Gods Will Fall (Warner Bros.)
- Metal Gear Solid 2 HD Remaster (Konami)
- Metal Gear Solid 3 HD Remaster (Konami)
- Mirror's Edge RTX Remaster (Electronic Arts)
- Monster Hunter 6 (Capcom)
- Mortal Kombat XII (Warner Bros.)
- Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart (Sony)
- Shin Megami Tensei V (SEGA)
- Total War 9 (SEGA)
- XCOM 3 (Take-Two Interactive)
Most of the above games are best left to time and we should limit speculation about them as much as possible. Naturally, new installments of popular and respected series can be expected, as can several ports and remasters, but on the other hand, several items are highly puzzling or even unlikely - such as Gran Turismo 7, which has little chance of appearing on PC, at least in the near future. This is indicated by words of the developer, who openly said that his studio is not yet working on a PC version (although it is considering it).
