New 4X Strategy From Civilization Co-creators Has a Release Date. Ara: History Untold Will Focus on Uniqueness
Oxide Interactive studio has revealed the highly anticipated trailer for Ara: History Untold. At the Xbox Developer_Direct, we also learned the release date for this 4X strategy.
During the Xbox Developer_Direct show, we received another trailer from Oxide Interactive studio, which presented new gameplay fragments from the upcoming 4X strategy game titled Ara: History Untold. We also found out when this Civilization rival will debut.
Apart from the new gameplay, the developers have revealed the release date. Ara: History Untold will be released in fall 2024. The exclusive Microsoft title will be playable on PC and on the PC Game Pass service on day one.
The game focuses on creating our own country, which we will have to develop through the next epochs and defend against the invaders. Of course, we will also set out to conquer foreign nations and decide for ourselves how we will dominate them, which is quite a unique solution.
In the above video, the developers introduced us to some of the mechanics that the game will have. From the new material, we learned more about the so-called prestige system, which determines the value level of a leader in our society. In short - the more powerful and impressive buildings we erect, the more valuable we are as leaders.
Let's hope that Ara will live up to its iconic rival - Civilization - and gather many devoted fans.
