The Long Dark is a first-person survival game. During the game we learn the fate of pilot William Mackenzie and Dr. Astrid Greenwood. The couple survives a geomagnetic storm, as a result of which all electronic devices stopped working. Hinterland is responsible for the development and publishing of the title.
