Great Hope of MMO Fans Revived. Throne and Liberty Beta Testing Sparks High Demand
Closed beta testing of the MMO Throne and Liberty has begun. Amazon's title has attracted a surprisingly large number of Steam users.
Do you still remember Throne and Liberty? A few months ago, we informed you that the release of this MMO has been moved to 2024. Yesterday, closed beta testing of this title from NCsoft studio and Amazon Games began.
- Throne and Liberty closed tests started on April 10 and will end on April 17. They involve selected players playing on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
- As statistics from SteamDB show, quite a lot of people are participating in beta tests. At the moment of writing this message, over 10,000 users are playing the game on Valve's platform, and the current record is slightly over 16,000 players enjoying it simultaneously.
- During the testing period, participants will verify selected elements of the gameplay. Today, players will encounter the boss Morokai as per the schedule provided by the devs.
These aren't the first beta tests of Throne and Liberty - the previous ones took place in May 2023. At that time, the users weren't pleased with the game as the gameplay didn't demand much engagement from them. The playable character effectively performed all tasks, such as exploring the world, on behalf of the player.
May the ongoing tests bring better results. Maybe they will finally encourage the developers to disclose the official release date of the discussed MMO, which many players consider a great hope for this genre.
