We already know when this year's edition of The Game Awards will take place. Geoff Keighley confirmed that the event is scheduled for Thursday, December 10.

As announced, the TGA 2020 will not be a pre-recorded presentation - it will be broadcast live from three studios in Tokyo, Los Angeles and London. Of course there will be no visitors this year. We will be able to watch the gala through 45 different platforms. In addition, an advertising campaign will be launched prior to the event, where players will get access to demo versions of new games and bonuses in online games. Details will be announced in November. For the time being, Geoff Keighley has only revealed (via VentureBeat) that there will be new categories such as "Accessibility Innovation".

The pandemic will not stop The Game Awards 2020 organizers.
