The Finals 1.0 - Kicked from Server, TFGE0002 Error Explained
There are many fans of The Finals that are kicked from the game servers seemingly without a reason. If you are also affected by this issue, here you can learn more.
Free-to-play titles are very inviting for players as everyone can jump in with their friends to spend some time together. Usually such games are lacking in one way or another, but The Finals seems to have all that it takes to draw in people – flashy graphics, distinguishable characters, destructible environment, and mechanics that make it easy to get into. Since everyone can play it, the developers had to make sure that the right anti-cheat protection is in place. However, many people are reporting that they are kicked out without a reason from their games with error TFGE0002. If you are also experiencing this, here you will learn more.
Kicked from the server in The Finals explained
Being kicked in The Finals is quite common and many players experience it. While sometimes it can be obviously justified, it seems like in some instances, people are removed from the game servers without any reason. Or so they think. Let’s shed some light on what we know so far and why you might get kicked from the match:
- Using macros. It appears that the game uses a kind of input protection. When it detects unnaturally fast clicks, it can kick you out. Some players though, claim that they do not use macros and still get removed from the round while using specific weapons and clicking fast.
- Using downloaded crosshairs. The title’s anti-cheat might detect use of unofficial files and remove you from a match.
- Network connection. There might have been some disruption in the connection between your computer and game servers.
- Random problem. Some fans suspect that this error happens randomly. One of the player reports on Steam Community forum that Embark Studios is already investigating this.
- You might have been simply kicked. It can happen that you will be removed from the game due to many reasons, like for example inactivity.
It is also important to distinguish between two error codes:
- TFGE0002 – is a normal kick code, that does not prevent you from further play in a new match,
- TFGE0004 – means an account banned code. If you think you have been banned mistakenly, you should reach out to the dedicated player support.
As The Finals is free-to-play, it can draw in many cheaters, so the developers would like to be safe rather than sorry when it comes to unfair players. Being lenient with them would ruin the game for honest fans and make people abandon it prematurely. However, setting too strong defence can lead to a system that is very strict and kicks innocents.
