The Escapists 2 and Pathway for Free on Epic Games Store

Starting today, we will be able to get The Escapists 2 and Pathway for free on Epic Games Store, which will replace the still available ARK: Survival Evolved and Samurai Shodown NeoGeo Collection.

Epic Games Store has already given away the first part of The Escapists. Now it's time for the second part.

For the next few hours, we still have a chance to get ARK: Survival Evolved, an open-world online survival, and Samurai Shodown NeoGeo Collection, a set of classic 2D brawlers, for free in Epic Games Store. Then, according to the announcement, at 8 AM PT, the offer will change to The Escapists 2 and Pathway.

The first of the titles is a sequel to the decent prisoner simulator from 2015 (the PC version has an average rating of 71% on Metacritic). The first part was also given away on Epic Games Store at the end of last year. Soon, we will be able to add the second part to our account without spending a penny - the offer is to be valid until June 25. Simply go to this page and click on the "Download" button and confirm the order. The game presents a similar level as its predecessor - the average rating of the PC on Metacritic is 75%.

Pathway is a brand new game, released in April 2019.

The other game in the offer is Pathway, a hybrid of tactical strategy and RPG in pixelart graphics that takes players back to the 1930s, and the main purpose of the game is to search for mysterious artifacts scattered around the world. The title has collected mixed feedback - the PC version has an average Metacritic rating of 68%.
