New DLC for The Elder Scrolls Online Introduces Two Adventures
The Ascending Tide expansion has arrived in TESO with Update 33 and is now available on PC. It offers, among other things, two new dungeons and serves as an introduction to the year-long adventure titled Legacy of the Bretons.
New DLC for The Elder Scrolls Online - titled Ascending Tide - is now ready for download on some platforms, and with it comes Update 33 to the game.
The patch is now available to PC and Mac owners, as well as Stadia users. Gamers with Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Xbox One or PS4 will have to wait until March 29.
Ascending Tide can be accessed through a subscription to ESO Plus or through a one-time purchase for 1500 crowns in the grow store (around $12).
Ascending Tide
The DLC includes eight new item sets, fresh achievements and titles, new interior finishes and paints, and most importantly two PvE dungeons designed for four players:
- Coral Aerie - "Enter the secret lair of the mysterious Ascendant Order, located beneath the island seat of the High Isle elves in Coral Aerie, and rescue the gentleman thief Jakarn."
- Shipwright's Regret - "Help a swashbuckling captain in his search for a special kind of treasure hidden among relics of history and hosts of undead."
- Both dungeons can be completed both on normal and on veteran difficulty, as well as with additional obstacles reserved for Hard Mode.
- The events depicted in Ascending Tide provide an introduction to a year-long adventure Legacy of the Bretons and the related expansion to TESO called High Isle,, which will debut on June 6 on PC and on June 22 on consoles.
Legacy of the Bretons
With access to the Ascending Tide DLC, you can start your adventure in Legacy of the Bretons in the following ways:
- By teleporting directly to either of the two aforementioned dungeons from the map.
- Using the Dungeon Finder tool.
- By finding the dungeon entrances located in Summerset (Coral Aerie) and Rivenspire (Shipwright's Regret) respectively.
Update 33 for TESO
The free update changes the rules of most achievements, which are now to be shared by all heroes within one account. From now on, when a player unlocks an achievement with one character, the other heroes will also have it automatically unlocked.
New PvP sets await fans of clashes with other players, including: Rallying Cry, Hew and Sunder, and Enervating Aura. Tel Var vendors in the Imperial City sewers offer a new style of Dragonguard Berserker armor.
- Mounts capable of carrying up to two players have been implemented into the game.
- An NPC named Giladil the Ragpicker, who is able to deconstruct any item, has been introduced.
