The Division 1.4 update goes live; check out details
The Division 1.4 patch is now available. Check out what changes this fat update is bringing into the game.
The much-anticipated 1.4 update for Tom Clancy’s The Division is now live for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One players. According to the lengthy patch notes released by Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment, the biggest new feature are the World Tiers, offering an extra challenge for players at level 30. There are four World Tiers, with increasingly more difficult enemies and better loot.
In addition to that, the developers included enemy AI improvements, lowered time-to-kill enemy NPCs, doubled ammo capacity on level 30, balance tweaks, revised rewards, gear stats and skills, UI modifications, and much, much more. Read the entire change log here.
This patch is definitely a needed addition to The Division, but will it change the tide for the game? Since the impressive 2 million peak at the launch in March 2016, Ubisoft’s online shooter has been loosing players drastically – in June, a 90% drop to 100,000 players was reported.
