The Dark Conduit in Remnant 2
First of all, you need to remember that Dark Conduit is randomized. It means that you may experience it in a different way than someone else. This is also the reason of a confusion among players. Very often, someone asks for help with a locked door, gets an answer and realizes that they can’t use the tips, as they are talking about 2 different doors.
In our guide we present 2 most common locked doors, which are problematic for players.
Remnant 2 Dark Conduit – Locked door with a secret passage
To open this door, you have to go to the nearby dead-end corridor and destroy crates. It should uncover shaft in the floor. Go through it. When you will see a hole above your head, leave the vent and use a ladder.
When you will be upstairs, go left, until you see a place to jump down. Don’t do it though. Instead look through the wholes in the wall. You should see a barrel. Destroy it and it will open the door. Now you may move on.
Remnant 2 Dark Conduit – Locked door with water
A different mystery is opening a locked door, behind which you can see water. There is a switch nearby (in the vicinity of the elevator), you should use it to lower water. It is not the most difficult part in this case, as many players have found it.
The problem is connected to the fact that you have only one chance to loot the room. If you die, the console is deactivated. And you can easily meet your end, as the water level will rise again, and you have a limited time to loot. Many players suggest that it may be a bug. Nevertheless, it is probably a feature, which is supposed to encourage people to play with others. You can’t take everything alone.
