The Big Bang Theory Is Set to Get a Third Spin-Off. Faces Familiar to TBBT Fans in Cast of Max’s New TV Series
The Big Bang Theory may have come to an end, but its universe continues to be developed through new spin-offs. The cast of the third includes some familiar faces.
The Big Bang Theory enjoys big popularity, and this continues even after the sitcom has ended. Fan interest is being sustained with more spin-offs. We previously received Young Sheldon, which ended after seven seasons, and now we're waiting for Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage, set to premiere on October 17, with another production already on the horizon to follow.
The people in charge of the brand apparently have no intention of letting it die too soon. And so it has been announced that there will be another spin-off of The Big Bang Theory, which has already found three cast members. If the TV series will be greenlit, we'll see familiar faces on screen – Brian Posehn, Lauren Lapkus and Kevin Sussman. The actors are expected to return to their roles from the original TV show, where they successively played geologist Bert Kibbler, assistant comic store manager Denise and comic store owner Stuart Bloom.
For now, the details of the production are unknown, so we don't know what specifically it would be about. Work is at an early stage for now. We do know, however, that the co-creator of The Big Bang Theory, Chuck Lorre, is involved in the project and is serving as an executive producer.
If the TV series is made, it will be released on Max and will be the fourth production in the TBBT world. The Big Bang Theory has lived to twelve seasons, Young Sheldon, as already mentioned, seven. It is not known how many seasons the new spin-offs are planned for.
