The Ascent's Cyberpunk World is Even More Beautiful in FPP

The Ascent from Neon Giant has been impressing with its visuals for almost two weeks now. The details of the cyberpunk world can be examined even more closely - just run the FPP mode.

If you belong to the group of players, who since July 29th are enjoying Neon Giant's beautiful game The Ascent, I have good news for you. Well, the game enables us to easily unlock the camera, thus activating a kind of first-person mode. You can use it to take a look at the incredible details of the cyberpunk world - textured boxes, posters waving in the wind, or even the smallest of screens with detailed lettering. Check out the video below for more of these graphical bells and whistles.

To unlock the camera in The Ascent, the author of the video used a tool called Universal Unreal Engine 4 Unlocker (you can download it here). Just run the program with the game running in the background and in the "general" tab choose the appropriate process - in this case "built-in free camera available". A more detailed description of the procedure can be found in the link above.

The possibility of switching to FPP view is so interesting because The Ascent doesn't enable us to zoom in on the camera to an extent allowing for admiring of the virtual locations created with such reverence. The creators had to work incredibly hard on them - and let's remember that the team at Neon Giant consists of only a dozen or so people. Hats off to you, gentlemen.

The Ascent is available on PC, XONE, XSX|S and in Xbox Game Pass.
