Christopher Nolan and Quentin Tarantino are directors who need no introduction to anyone. And while their works have little in common, that doesn't mean the filmmakers can't value each other's work. Tarantino, according to his words from an interview with The Guardian, has a lot of good things to say about Nolan's craft.

He also confessed that he would like to see his version of Ken Anakin's 1965 movie, believing it to be an ideal production for Nolan. The film in question is The Battle of Bulge, which is a reconstruction of one of the greatest battles of World War II, fought by the Allies against the Nazis.

I’d like to see Chris Nolan’s version of The Battle of Bulge. That would be f***ing awesome.

And although several years have passed since Tarantino's interview, Nolan still hasn't addressed his words. Nor has he taken interest in remake of The Battle of Bulge, rather focusing on other projects, such as the recent Oppenheimer, for which he won two Oscars. He has also shot several other memorable movies in recent years, while his next project is unknown for now. Apparently, after the hype surrounding Oppenheimer, on which Nolan had to spend a lot of time, the director decided to take a break. But he is sure to return with something new eventually.

Meanwhile, Tarantino, who until recently was working on his latest film, has abandoned the project. Shooting was supposed to begin this fall, but the filmmaker has abandoned those plans, and instead of saving The Movie Critic, he is to tackle something new. But it's not yet clear what that will be.
