TGS 2020 - Japan's Most Important Gaming Fair Also Canceled
The organizers of the another industry event - the Japanese Tokyo Game Show 2020 - informed that it was canceled. Instead, there will be an online event. TGS was scheduled for the end of September.

Unfortunately, it seems that yet another industry event this year will not take place. We are talking about TGS, or Tokyo Game Show, which was scheduled for the end of September (24-27). The organizers informed in a press release published today that instead the event wil take place online. The reason for canceling TGS is, of course, the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus pandemic.
Due to the outbreak of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) on a global scale and the situation remains unpredictable in Japan as well, the organizer and the co-organizers have reached this decision after a long consideration to place the utmost priority on the health and safety of visitors, exhibitors and stakeholders. We ask for your kind understanding and cooperation.
