Tekken 8 Got Promised Demo on Steam [Update: Developers Thank the Community]
Currently, all fighting game fans can check out the demo of the upcoming Tekken 8 from Bandai Namco. However, PC players are reporting problems.

Tekken 8 developer Katsuhiro Harada, has passed along some kind words about the latest installment in the series. The message published on X reads:
"The demo of Tekken 8 has met with a very positive response, and the number of pre-orders is steadily increasing. We thank everyone for their support.
Problems occurring in the demo will be fixed in the full version of the product. Please be patient as we await the release."

Last week, PlayStation 5 owners began testing the demo version of the upcoming Tekken 8 (the reception was generally excellent - more on that later), and yesterday Xbox Series X/S and PC owners also received access to the trial version. The latter, however, have a few reservations about the freshly released demo.
PC gamers have reservations about Tekken 8's demo
Judging by initial reactions from Tekken fans on Steam, the developers have something to think about. A sizable number of players are pointing out the flaws in the PC release of the demo. On Valve's platform there are many threads in which users shared their impressions after playing the sample served by Bandai Namco.
- One of the users points out, that Tekken 8 does not offer the ability to turn off upscaling.
- There are also voices about the game's poor performance on PC. Players complain about FPS drops at medium or high settings despite meeting the system requirements.
- Gamers also note crashes that cause the game's demo to shut down.
- Some of the people are wondering also why the demo version offers only four fighters. Currently, the demo includes: Paul, Nina, Jin and Kazuya.
A sizable number of players and good ratings for Tekken 8 demo on PS5
Despite these opinions, number supporters of Bandai Namco's fighting game series embracing the demo on Steam is quite big. Its current activity record is 6830 players.
The demo has also gathered very good ratings on PlayStation Store. As of this moment, the average rating is 4.74/5 with almost three thousand reviews.
Full version of Tekken 8 will debut on January 26, 2024 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Until then, you can play with the free demo version available on the aforementioned platforms.
