Teardown Revives After Support for Steam Workshop is Added
Teardown still enjoys a high reputation among Steam users. As many as 91% of over 1,000 reviews of Tuxedo Labs' game from the last 30 days are positive. Game's yesterday debuy on Steam Workshop had a big contribution in achieving this result.
- Teardown is getting very good feedback from the players on Steam - 91% of the over 1000 reviews from the last 30 days are positive;
- Moreover, yesterday the number of people playing the title at the same time increased;
- A large part of the credit for this goes to the addition of support for Steam Workshop, where more than 150 mods for Teardown are already available.
At the end of October, last year Teardown launched in early access on Steam. The game developed by Tuxedo Labs quickly delighted the players. They liked the wide array of options for destroying the environment, which was achieved through the use of visuals based on voxels, i.e. "three-dimensional pixels", which is also present, for example, in Minecraft. Today, after nearly half a year of development, the reception of the title has not changed. In the last 30 days, more than 1000 reviews appeared on Steam, as much as 91% of which are positive.
When we look at the chart of recent reviews of Teardown, we can see that a large influx took place yesterday. This is not accidental. It was then that the game from Tuxedo Labs received support for Steam Workshop. Even now there are more than 150 mods to the title (some of them were already present on Nexusmods). Among them we can find weapons, maps, vehicles or skills created by fans. All are available here.
The release of support for Steam Workshop, thanks to which Teardown will certainly become even more diverse, also positively affected the number of people playing the game. Yesterday, at the peak moment, the title was launched by 2357 players. This is quite an increase compared to, say, Wednesday, when the number was 682 during the hottest period (via SteamDB).
Although the recent results achieved by Teardown may please the team from Tuxedo Labs, the devs still have a lot of work ahead of them. They have to improve the optimization, which many players have reservations about, and add new content to retain the current community and find new customers. If you would like to be among them, until March 8 the title can be purchased with a 20% discount.
As for now, the release date of the full version of Teardown is unknown. According to current plans, the early access period of the title will last throughout this year, but the devs do not exclude that if the community will have any objections, it will be extended.
