New Cozy The Lord of the Rings Game Offers Hobbit Life Experience
Private Division has released the first teaser for its upcoming Hobbit game. Tales of the Shire is expected to hit the market as early as next year.
If you are a fan of Tolkien's works and would like to experience the idyllic life of a hobbit, then you should be interested in the teaser of Private Division's new game. The publisher has shared a video, which announces the release of Tales of the Shire. The cozy title will debut in 2024.
Tales of the Shire - a new adventure in Middle-earth
Some time ago we informed about the first reports on a new game set in The Lord of the Rings universe. Now we can see its first teaser. Let's point out that Weta Workshop is responsible for the development of Tales of the Shire, which worked on the special effects in Peter Jackson's two movie trilogies based on the works of the British writer.
Fresh footage shows the artist and her desk. The video lasts less than a minute, but in that time you can see some interesting details in and around the notebook itself.
- On the desk we seen, among other things, paintbrushes or a laptop with hobbit stickers. This may suggest that the studio of some artist who is currently creating a new adventure starring the inhabitants of the Shire is shown.
- On one of the pages of the notebook one can see a picture of a hobbit woman - perhaps she will be the protagonist of the upcoming game.
- On the following pages hobbit houses and three locations are shown: the village of Bywater and two inns located there - Ivy Bush and Green Dragon.
Unfortunately, the developers have not revealed more details. For now, we can only speculate about the contents of game to be provided by Weta Workshop and Private Division.
What is certain is that Tales of the Shire will debut in 2024. The game will be available on both PC and consoles - however, it is not known whether the developers will also release it on previous-gen devices.
Finally, let us remind you that today is Hobbit Day. At the same time, it is the anniversary of the birth of two of the most famous hobbits - Frodo and Bilbo Baggins.
