Tactics Ogre: Reborn - Skills Explained
This page of the guide will introduce you to skills in Tactics Ogre: Reborn. This is a game for lovers of turn-based tactical RPGs that has caught the attention of thousands of fans.
Tactics Ogre: Reborn has won the hearts of gamers. This tactical RPG attracted thousands of fans on the very first day of its release. Many players took the team on the road and went on an adventure. On this page of the guide, we decided to introduce you a little closer to a very important element of this title - skills. In this guide you will learn basic information about them, and we will also discuss their types.
Basic information
There are 4 types of skills - action, support, auto and special (we discuss them in detail in a separate section of this guide). The pool of Skills depends on the selected class. In addition, characters learn them as they gain levels. Don't forget to assign them on the Party command screen.
Skills can be improved, making them stronger. Levels are gained by using a particular skill and as the unit levels up. Upgrading skills linked to specific weapons will make you learn finishing moves.
Types of Skills
- Action Skills - these are activated skills like spells or physical attacks. Using them requires MP.
- Support Skills – passive skills, used automatically if assigned.
- Auto Skills – Like Support Skills, they are used automatically, too. However, the difference is that in their case certain conditions must be met.
- Special Skills – these skills are special because they are unique to specific races. As with Action Skills, they are activated, and their use consumes MP.
