Survival Game Forever Skies Boasts Good Sales
Polish survival game Forever Skies is performing well in terms of sales and has met with a warm reception on Steam.
Last week, Forever Skies, a survival game by Polish studio Far From Home has launched in Steam's Earl Access. The developers have just boasted [in Polish] the sales results of their game.
- Three days after its release, sales of Forever Skies exceeded 50,000 copies.
- This result is higher than the developers anticipated, so the team is very pleased with the game's debut in early access.
- The game's current activity record is 5.2 thousand concurrent players on Steam.
- Forever Skies' successful launch is all the more good news for the studio, as Far From Home intends to debut on the stock market this year.
- It is worth mentioning that the game is not only selling well, but is also collecting positive reviews from the players. On Steam, 89% of user reviews praise Forever Skies, which is categorized as a "very good" reception.
Recall that the game was released on June 22. The Early Access version is available only on PC, but further plans include editions for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S and Xbos Series X consoles. The early release of the game features only the single-player mode and provides about 15 hours of play.
The developers anticipate that early access period will last about a year. Shortly after the release, the devs revealed a roadmap for Forever Skies. These include implementing a cooperative mode, introducing the ability to create a garden, and expanding the content with additional modules for the ship, new locations and missions, as well as full support for gamepad controls.
