Fans of Stellaris can now buy the long-awaited expansion The Machine Age. On the occasion of the premiere of the ninth expansion, the devs released a fresh trailer of the new content and reminded us what it will introduce to the space strategy from 2016.

As mentioned in the previous news, The Machine Age enables us to realize "cyberpunk fantasies" by introducing, among other things, a new crisis path to the game. Furthermore, we also got three previously unavailable origins: Cybernetic Creed, Synthetic Fertility, and Arc Welders. There we'll also find:

  1. cybernetic and machine ships;
  2. 2 superstructures: the molten Arc Furnace and powerful Dyson Swarm;
  3. 6 new Civics;
  4. 7 new music tracks.

We have to pay $24.99 for the expansion. Such price applies on Steam, GOG, and in the Microsoft Store. To enjoy the DLC, you must have the base game.

Let us remind you that the debut of this expansion takes place during 8 season. As part of it, the devs will share some additional new features that were mentioned when announcing the release date of The Machine Age. Among them is the "Cosmic Storms" mechanic, the "The Grand Archive" story pack, and the "Rick the Cube" species portrait. All these elements will reach the players in the second half of 2024.
