It is unfortunately nothing new that game releases are met with major hiccups. The situation is no better with ports of popular titles on PC, like in this instance – Summoners War. This popular game for smartphones made its way to our computers. While many initial problems seem to be addressed by the development team, there are some that remain. The one that pains fans the most right now is leaving them stuck on loading screen after logging in. If you are also troubled by that, we’re here to help.

Even though Summoners War didn’t have a very successful start on PC, there are still a lot of people who enjoy it, leaving almost 75% of positive reviews on Steam (at the time of writing this article). Nevertheless, there are still fans, who struggle with numerous issues, one of which makes them stuck on loading screen after login attempt.

There are several solutions for this found by players on Steam Community forum. We present them below:

1. The first thing that you should try is to make sure that your game launches using a dedicated video card. In some cases, it can start using an integrated one, which leads to a lot of inconsistencies.
2. If you are using MSI Afterburner, a tool to tweak low level GPU settings, make sure to turn it off before starting the game.
3. There is a specific situation, that after logging in with Facebook account, the screen turns black, and nothing happens. One of the solutions that supposedly work is to change the game language from Steam level to Korean. This is quite extreme, though it has chances to make the title work.
4. Another problem related to facebook login can be alleviated by using google account associated with the same email address.

Developers are aware of most problems and are working to fix them. It seems like a lot of them have their roots in graphics cards and their configurations, as in one of the official posts, they recommend using the latest GPU drivers. It would make sense as, again, Summoners War is originally a mobile game developed for smartphones, where the hardware and system architecture vary significantly.

Let’s keep our fingers crossed and support the creators, as they have taken on a new challenge that they seem to have less experience in. All in all, it makes the game cross-platform allowing more fans to enjoy it.
