Summer Game Fest 2024 Is Coming; Geoff Keighley Announces 2-Hour Presentation in 4K and Calms Down Emotions
The Summer Game Fest 2024 stream will begin this Friday and will bring with it 2 hours of new materials and information about upcoming titles.

Geoff Keighley participated in an AMA session (Ask Me Anything), during which he answered a series of questions about Summer Game Fest 2024, somewhat cooling down the emotions before the event.
According to the journalist, during the two-hour show, we will see many trailers, but these will mainly be materials from already-known games ("reminding us of them or presenting new content.") Although there will be no shortage of fresh announcements, it won't be a presentation with many new announcements ("This is not a show that has a lot of like, 'coming in 2026' or '2027' or teasers for games that are years and years out," said Keighley).
Such an event is the Game Awards gala, which traditionally takes place in December every year.

The next edition of Summer Game Fest is approaching. Like every year, Geoff Keighley has released a trailer that unveils some of the games most likely to be featured during the show. Keep in mind that the video is also a form of "highlighting" already released, this year's games. So not all titles will definitely appear at SGF 2024.

The event organized by Geoff Keighley will start on Friday, June 7 at 2:00 p.m. PT, along with the stream opening the summer game presentations. The event will last 2 hours, and this year the stream will also be available in 4K resolution.
Not only Summer Game Fest 2024
These are by no means all the games that will be presented in the new materials. Apart from the opening ceremony itself, we are also expecting other streams. Guerrilla Collective has announced its next show, which will start on June 6th, a day before the opening stream of SGF 2024. The live event will take place in Los Angeles the day after.
A few hours after the opening ceremony of SGF 2024, the "iconic" Volvy will return in another presentation by Devolver Digital. Meanwhile, this year's summer edition of the Future Games Show will start on June 8th. During the broadcast, we will see, among others, the Polish SacriFire, Eternal Strands, and Bodycam.
This is just the beginning of summer attractions. The stream start times for Ubisoft and Microsoft, along with a few smaller presentations, have been confirmed.
