Sudden Strike 4 brings a venerable RTS franchise back to life
Sudden Strike is back after 9 years of absence. The renowned World War II RTS was revived by Kalypso Media and is being developed by Kite Games. It is now available for preorder on Steam and aimed for Spring 2017 release.
Quit staring at me, soldier, and look what’s happening on the battlefield! Sudden Strike 4 has just been announced, and right now we’re positive that it will hit PC and PS4 in Spring 2017! Just look at the size of this monster – you could fit a World War II setting (including every significant battle fought during the conflict), at least 3 playable armies (lead by 9 different commanders characterized by different perks), 100 unique military units (ranging from tanks to fighter planes), and over 20 single player scenarios in there!
Not only is it more complex than Tiger schematics, it’s also filled to the brim with content! Now let me exemplify – a single player campaign rewarding you with skill points and historical footage each time you use your brain to figure out the approach that suits the scenario best, a competitive multiplayer (in which you will be able to face other commanders), and even a bloody skirmish mode!
You want more? Well I’ll give you more – a digital artbook including Simon Robert’s finest work, ‘The Battle for Kursk’ skirmish map, and a digital copy of the official soundtrack. Just storm the game’s Steam page to preorder Sudden Strike 4 with a 15% discount. Now you are dismissed. And don’t forget to visit Kalypso’s stand at this year’s Gamescom, where you’ll be able to take the game for a spin!
