Subscription Service for Fortnite Inbound

Epic Games has decided to introduce a monthly subscription to Fortnite, which will provide players with digital currency and cosmetic item sets. The service will launch soon.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. The surveys sent to Fortnite gamers regarding potential subscription were not accidental - Epic Games wants to add such an option for all interested on December 2;
  2. As part of the monthly fee, we will receive 1,000 V-Bucks a month, outfit bundle and Battle Pass.

Two weeks ago, we wrote about Epic Games silently asking Fortnite players if they would be, purely hypothetically, interested in a monthly subscription. This, of course, wouldn't be to grant exclusive access to the game, but only to get a certain number of cosmetic accessories. The response of the community had to be positive, as a new subscription model called Fortnite Crew was officially announced today.

This service will offer the players, among other things, access to the battle pass, which involves a ton of benefits such as digital currency, outfits, or weapons. Moreover, each subscriber will receive 1,000 V-Bucks per month to be spent in the game shop and the Fortnite Crew, a special set of outfits (available only to subscribers).

Fortnite Crew will debut as early as December 2, 2020, - the developers from Epic Games have announced what package of items all potential consumers will receive: it will be Galaxia space outfit along with a unique style, a rainbow-colored Cosmic Llamacorn Pickaxe, as well as the highly-original backpack called Fractured World Back Bling. We will pay $11.99 for each month of subscription. It is optional and its benefits will not affect the gameplay.
