The Finals is the new FPS shooter which entered the gaming scene with a bang. Hundreds of thousands of people play this free to play title with quite spectacular environmental destruction. While many fans have fun in The Finals without major problems, there are some technical issues which need developers’ attention. One of them is stuttering. Many players inform that this issue is quite frequent. Let’s talk about it.

Stuttering in The Finals Explained

Recently, numerous fans report stuttering problems in The Finals. It seems that it is not a coincidence, as many players started to do so, after the recent update. Of course, developers introduce various hotfixes to solve issues, but sometimes these changes can break something else, it might be the same in this case. The best course of action for now is to be patient and wait for the next hotfix, and at the same time inform developers about the problem.

Of course, there are things you can do:

  1. First of all, watch out for Monaco map. It seems to be the major stuttering source.
  2. Secondly, lower your graphics settings.
  3. Thirdly, make sure that your drivers are up to date.
  4. Fourthly, you can try to cap your FPS.
