THQ Announces Crazy Mix of Racing and Stunts
Stuntfest World Tour is a game about crazy stunt racing from the developers of MisBits. The game's first trailer is available.
Stuntfest began as a stunt sandbox game, in which we were to be limited only by our imagination. We wrote about it here, back in 2016. Developers of Wreckfest and FlatOut abandoned the project, however, and were subsequently bought out by THQ Nordic. A recent leak reminded us of the game, suggesting that Bugbear Entertainment wants to bring it back to life. Part of this assumption was correct, as a game with such a title and in a similar style will indeed appear, but from under the chisel of another studio - Pow Wow Entertainment, creators of MisBits.
Stuntfest: World Tour - what is that?
Stuntfest: World Tour is a racing game focused on multiplayer gameplay. Up to 18 players are to take part in crazy stunt races. The key to victory is to be creative in finding the shortest possible route. The most important is to be the moment when we catapult ourselves out of the vehicle - even before the finish line itself. If we play everything right, we'll gain a considerable advantage, especially by using fancy gadgets - such as a jet pack. Everything is shown in the trailer below.
The game is expected to offer several game modes - including a destruction derby or races involving gliding and head-on collisions. The developers also announce extensive possibilities in customizing and improving vehicles. The whole game is to be served in a humorous tone, as evidenced by the characters available to choose from - including a punk grandmother or a famous streamer.
