Studio Gave Employees Days Off to Enjoy Elden Ring

The president of studio Pocket Pair has given his staff two days of paid leave to enjoy Elden Ring.

Elden Ring is one of the most anticipated releases of the year, including among developers of other games. The president of Japanese studio Pocket Pair (working on Craftopia) decided to give his employees paid vacation so that they could enjoy the new work by From Software.

In a message on Twitter CEO Takuro Mizobe admitted that he realized that his employees would not be able to concentrate on work on the day From Software's new game is released, so he organized an "Elden holiday". Employees didn't have to come to the office on Friday, but they will still get paid.

What's more, this offer also applies to tomorrow, which combined with the free weekend, will allow the studio's employees to spend four days in the world of Elden Ring in total. CEO Takuro Mizobe expects them to return to work only on Tuesday.

Elden Ring debuted on February 25, simultaneously on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. The game received sensational ratings but has been plagued by technical problems. The PC edition in particular is disappointing in this regard., but mods have already been released that minimize some of the problems.
