Steam Will Get A New Skin?
There are some photos on Steam Database Twitter showing possible new Steam interface. It is very possible that Valve's platform will soon undergo a gentle lifting, which will make it easier for users to use the application.
Several photos showing an improved version of Steam have appeared on the Steam Database Twitter account. It is worth noting that these are photos from a work-in-progress version of the interface. As the authors of the entry write, the leak was caused by update of the Chinese launcher of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. If the photos turn out to be real, we can expect a change for the better. The interface seems to be more elegant and intuitive, which should make it easier to navigate the site.
By the way, Steam Database has also released new effects available in the collector cards menu. When you select them with your mouse, unique tooltips appear. Furthermore, depending on the cursor position, you can rotate the cards slightly. Will such visual effects really appear on Valve's platform?
Let's remind that Steam still looks great in the eyes of the players. Despite the growing competition, the service managed to exceed the number of one billion registered accounts. I wonder if Steam users will be equally enthusiastic about a possible interface change?
