Steam Remains Occupied by Vampires
Last week, the biggest Steam bestseller was once again V Rising. In addition, My Time at Sandrock, Sniper Elite 5 and Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix have made their debuts.
As every Monday a list of the biggest (by revenue) bestsellers of the past week has been released on Steam.
V Rising still undefeated
For the second time in a row V Rising turned out to be unrivaled. Maintaining this position is all the more impressive that this is a relatively cheap game.
V Rising quite unexpectedly turned out to be one of the biggest independent hits of this year. In the first week after release it sold more than one million copies. The game can also boast 88% positive reviews on Steam, which is categorized as "very positive" reception.
A successful debut of My Time at Sandrock
The biggest release of the past week turned out to be My Time at Sandrock, which debuted at the fifth place. Players have initially complained about numerous technical problems, but quickly released patches have improved the situation.
Since the premiere, the game's reception has clearly improved. On the first day it had only 67% positive reviews on Steam, and today their share increased to 78%. Over the weekend My Time at Sandrock set a a new activity record, with 21,778 concurrent users. That's more than five times the all-time score for the series' previous installment, My Time At Portia.
