Starfield's Script has 150,000 Dialogue Lines

It seems that Starfield will be able to boast a script of considerable length. The game will contain as many as 150 thousand lines of dialogue.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  • Todd Howard shared information about the size of the Starfield's script;
  • It contains as many as 150,000 dialogue lines;
  • This is the longest script in the history of the studio.

It has long been known that Starfield is a very important project for Bethesda. We are talking about the studio's first new IP in 25 years. It will also probably be the largest title in the company's history so far. This may be confirmed by information about the sheer volume of the game's script, which was shared by the director, Todd Howard.

During the Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2021 broadcast Howard revealed that the script has as many as 150,000 lines of dialogue. This is more than twice the amount of Skyrim, which has 60 thousand. It's also much more than the number of lines in Fallout 4 (110,000), which so far has held the leading position among the company's games. On this occasion Howard also revealed that the game will receive a complete Japanese localization.

The aforementioned information may suggest that Starfield will be a unique Bethesda project. The players who can't wait to dive into the new universe created by the American studio must arm themselves with patience. The launch of the space sandbox is still over a year away.

The game release is scheduled for November 11, 2022. It will be a Microsoft exclusive title, so it will appear only on PC and Xbox Series S/X.
