Starfield System Requirements Revealed on Steam

The Starfield universe is huge, but you won't need a PC from outer space to play Bethesda's new RPG on PC.

Microsoft and Bethesda's show brought with it a lot of information about the new RPG from Bethesda, along with footage from the game. In addition, Steam published Starfield's system requirements, although they were initially incomplete.

Basically, all information on the minimum configuration was given. Only one point, recommended processor, was displayed as "Windows 10 /11 with updates" for some time. Fortunately, this error has now been corrected.

However, do not count on 125 GB of required disk space also being an error. Given the enormity of Starfield (even excluding Bethesda;s promised "only" a thousand planets), the game still does not fare badly against the biggest productions of the year. For comparison: Star Wars Jedi: Survivor requires 155 GB of available space.

Starfield - minimum PC requirements

  1. Operating system: Windows 10 (64-bit)
  2. Processor: Intel Core i7-6800K / AMD Ryzen 5 2600X
  3. RAM: 16 GB
  4. Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 Ti / AMD Radeon RX 5700
  5. Disk space: 125 GB (SSD required)
