Early Look of Starfield; Screenshots Surface Online
Screenshots from the upcoming Starfield have appeared online. They come from back in 2018 and give a look at one of the game's locations.
- Screenshots from an early version of Starfield has surfaced on the web;
- According to Reddit users, it already looks better than other Bethesda games at this stage;
- The shots also enable us to take a look at the interface.
The release of Starfield is still a long way off. While waiting for the game to launcg, you can kill some time with five screenshots from the early version of the game that have just appeared on the web. They come from 2018, so the game may have undergone many changes since then.
Posted on Reddit, the screenshots enable us to take a look at one of the locations present in the game. Thanks to them, we can also initially assess the quality of the game's visuals.
Postcards from another planet
Screens posted in the web show an unfinished station on the surface of an alien planet. The location makes a barren impression due to the lack of any elements filling the environment.
Even these barrent shots enable us to assess that Starfield can boast of quite decent visuals - at least by Bethesda's standards.
Already at this stage, the textures present a level higher than those in Fallout 4. This was also noticed by Reddit users, who mostly praised the results of the studio's work.
Minimalism and simplicity
Screenshots posted on the forum also enable us to take a look at the game's interface. It is minimalistic and clear, as befits the style, which Bethesda calls NASA-punk.
HUD elements presenting health or ammunition levels do not use a distinctive style, such as retrofuturism. Instead the creators decided to use simple and aesthetic indicators.
Of course, all the elements shown in the screenshots may be outdated by now. They come from four years ago and during that time the game may have undergone many changes.
This means we should not get used to the vision they present. How Starfield looks like in reality will be revealed only at the time of its official presentation.
