Original story
Blizzard Entertainment has shared a new live action trailer of the HD version of their legendary sci-fi real-time strategy game. The video prepares the world for the imminent arrival of StarCraft: Remastered and reveals its release date – August 14, 2017. You can already pre-purchase the game on Battle.net for $14.99 to get some exclusive rewards, such as the new Korhal Command Center, Char Hive, and Aiur Nexus, as well as three portaits and a Stukoc Commander in StarCraft II.
In order to play StarCraft: Remastered you must first claim the free StarCraft Anthology, that is the original StarCraft with the Brood War expansion. In terms of gameplay, the remastered version is just the same good, old StarCraft, enhanced by all new system of matchmaking, cloud saving, quick button re-mapping and easy access to fan-made maps and replays. The most evident change, however, is the new audio and visuals. Although still kept in 2D, StarCraft: Remastered features highly-detailed environments and 4K resolution support.
