A job offer published some time ago on Electronic Arts' website suggests that developers from Motive Studios - responsible for the well-received Star Wars: Squadrons - are working on an unannounced action game set in the universe of Star Wars. Everything seems to indicate that this is one of the projects that the studio's CEO, Patrick Klaus, mentioned during the October conference.
“In addition to Star Wars: Squadrons, we’re also working on several unannounced projects (...) Innovation is tough, but it’s also exciting and energizing. With our new mission, we’re trying a lot of things and testing many ideas which you can’t get attached to, as iteration and experimentation are healthy and a key to finding something great. The team is super talented and we’re all striving to make aspirational games that push the boundaries of what players expect now and into the future," said Patrick Klaus (via VG24/7).
We don't know the details of Motive's new work yet. All we can do is wait for the details.
