Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Possibly Gone Gold; Devs Celebrate
Work on Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has apparently come to an end. Some Respawn Entertainment employees have already started celebrating.
According to as yet unofficial information, work on the second installment of Star Wars Jedi has been completed. This means that just over two weeks before the release of the long-awaited title, Jedi: Survivor has gone gold.
Why such speculation? Several Respawn Entertainment employees shared posts on their social media, indicating that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is already completed and fully playable, and is just waiting for release..
This is not an official announcement from the studio, but given that the posts come from high-ranking members of the team, there is no reason to believe that something is amiss here.
Below is a message from Blair Brown, senior producer of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. His tweet was responded to by other Survivor dev, Jason de Heras. Looking at the clapping Chewbacca (or something resembling him), it's hard to imagine a clearer signal from the developers.
We, in turn, can't help but look forward to the studio's official announcement and - of course - the release of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. The game is to launch on April 28. The title is heading for PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
