Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Next-gen Update in The Summer
The next-gen update for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has been confirmed and an approximate date has been given. For now we do not know that exactly to expect from it.
The Star Wars franchise's website published an occasional post related to the upcoming Star Wars Day (May the 4th be with You). Thanks to it we learned a little bit more about the next-gen version of Star Wars Jedi: The Fallen Order (although still not much), and being more accurate, we got to know its approximate release date. The update to the aforementioned title will be coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S this summer and will include "a number of technical improvements". What are they? Details are to be announced soon.
The patch will of course be free for all owners of the game. Importantly, people who own the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will also be able to enjoy the next-gen update, as long as they have one of the new consoles.
As we mentioned, we'll have to wait a bit longer to see the visuals and performance capabilities of the improved versions, but if you don't own the game yet, keep an eye out for special offers, as they may soon appear in online stores.
Although a next-gen update for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was already released once in January 2021 and offered improved performance and increased native resolution, the upcoming update should showcase a bit more of what we've come to expect, including improved textures and ray-tracing.
