Star Wars: Battlefront – three new modes revealed
Star Wars: Battlefront is getting three new multiplayer modes, as revealed by Electronic Arts. These are: Hero Hunt, Cargo, and Droid Run.
Darth Vader vs. 7 rebels doesn’t seem fair… for the rebels.
Electronic Arts revealed three new multiplayer modes in Star Wars: Battlefront. As explained on the game’s official website, these are:
- Hero Hunt – a 7v1 struggle, in which a lone wolf plays as a Star Wars legend (e.g. Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Boba Fett, or others) with the rest trying to hunt him down. The one who gets the kill later becomes the hero.
- Cargo – a variation of good, old Capture the Flag, where two teams of six players are trying to capture enemy cargo. Unlike in the classic CTF, enemy cargo can be captured even if your own is out of your base. This makes constant protection of your base equally important to raiding the opponents’.
- Droid Run – 6v6 mode, in which players have to capture and hold GNK Droids to rack up points.
Recently EA also informed that Star Wars: Battlefront will get a 50 dollars worth Season Pass, granting two-week early access to all post-launch DLC packs. The game’s beta is still on, ending later today, so there is some time left to try it out for free.
