Spider-Man on PC Looks Better Than on PS5; First Comparison
First comparisons of Spider-Man visuals on PC and PlayStation 5 appeared on the web. It looks like PC players can count on improved visuals.
Yesterday's State of Play gave a lot of joy to Peter Parker fans who own personal computers. That's because Marvel's Spider-Man and its big, standalone expansion will be released on PC this year.
The first visuals comparison (by user Cycu1) of the game on PlayStation 5 and PC, based on the trailer shown yesterday, appeared online.
Spider-Man the prettiest on PC
It looks like PC players will play a nicer version of Spider-Man. A direct comparison reveals that the new edition of the game boasts slightly better graphics.
The differences are easiest to notice in the field of lighting. The PC version seems to have higher quality shadows and stronger color contrast. Objects in the background also appear less flat than in the PS5 edition.
Whether these details will affect the overall experience of the game will be revealed in two months' time. Marvel's Spider-Man will hit the PC on August 12. A little later (this fall) owners of this platform will also be able to play Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
