Many Spectre Divide players experience problems right now. Most likely they are connected to servers.

The time is here. Thousands of players on PC can test their combat abilities in Spectre Divide, a new free to play shooter, which looks like a scene from a comic book. Well… console players can’t, but it is a topic of a different article. However, even among people who use Steam as their main gaming platform, not all of them can enjoy the title. It seems that SD has the problem which is common for many multiplayer games at launch – server issues.

Server Issues in Spectre Divide

As of now many players report various problems. Numerous people can’t enter tutorial, others wait for joining the game, and some can’t create the party. There is a good chance, and I strongly believe it is true, that the answer is one to all of them – servers do not handle well the number of players. Developers are aware of majority of problems. We can read on the official Discord that:

We disabled the requirement to finish tutorial. Once we have a fix for the servers we will reenable this requirement. This means you will have to finish the tutorial after finishing a few live games.

Matchmaking doesn't complete and you can't enter into a match. We are investigating this one on our side as well.

At this point if you experience any kind of technical issue, it is highly probable that you can’t do anything with it. Your best option is to wait for developers to fix the issue or for number of people to get down. While we understand that the urge to play a new game is strong (we often feel the same), sometimes we just can’t do anything.

For now, it is a good idea to check out Spectre Divide social media, like aforementioned Discord, and wait for official announcements. Let’s hope that all the issues will be soon over, and we will all be able to enjoy the title in peace. Remember that such problems are almost always a short living ones. It should be better tomorrow.
