Sony's Farewell to PS4 Summarizes Gen-defining Titles
Sony has decided to memorize all the important games that launched on PlayStation 4 in a single trailer, bidding its farewell to eighth generation consoles as the PS5 is about to be released.
The launch of PlayStation 5 is approaching. This means, the end of eighth generation consoles is coming. This is the perfect opportunity for all kinds of summaries. Sony released a video for the occasion, which brings together all the games that more or less defined the PS4. These included exclusive titles (such as The Order: 1886, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End or God of War), large multiplatform titles (e.g. Red Dead Redemption 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Metro Exodus) and indie games (e.g. Kentucky Route Zero, Hollow Knight and The Banner Saga). Here's Sony's farewell to PlayStation 4, a platform that has been a success story with many successful and memorable games:
PlayStation 4 made its debut at the end of 2013 and seven years later, on November 12 and 19 (depending on the country), PS5 will be officially launched. Despite the inevitable end of the eighth generation, Sony intends to continue to support current-gen console with major games like Horizon: Forbidden West and Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
