Sony Will Inform in Advance About PS5 Pre-orders
Sony's representative will ensure that PlayStation 5 pre-orders will not launch without prior announcement. The Japanese company wants everyone to have an equal chance to order the device before the launch.

During the presentation of DualSense, Geoff Keighley had a conversation with Eric Lempel, responsible for global marketing at Sony Interactive Entertainment. The journalist asked the representative of the PlayStation brand about, among other things, rumors circulating on the Internet about the launch of PS5 pre-orders. Since many websites began to mysteriously publish and remove pre-order offers (e.g. Amazon and the Polish x-kom), the players began to speculate that PlayStation 5 pre-orders would appear on the Internet suddenly and unannounced. Lempel has disproved this theory, ensuring that Sony will inform the players about the start of the console's pre-orders in time.
"It's not going to happen with a minute's notice. We're going to at some point let you know when you can preorder PlayStation 5."
As a reminder, PlayStation 5 will launch at the end of the year. The console will be available in two variants: Normal and Digital Edition (without Blu-ray drive). The price of the device is not yet known.
