Sony Has Suddenly Announced Son and Bone. First Trailer Gives Hope for Doom With Dinosaurs
Sony has announced the first-person shooter Son and Bone. In the production from the creators of Quantum Error, we will fight dinosaurs in a brutal way.
Unexpectedly, Sony released a trailer presenting a new game from the American studio TeamKill Media, which released the FPS Quantum Error last year. Its upcoming game is Son and Bone. You can see some gameplay footage below.
As you can see, the title will be quite a brutal first-person shooter in which we get rid of opponents in a quite spectacular way - reminiscent of the Doom series. Our main enemies in Son and Bone will be dinosaurs. For smaller species, such as fast raptors, shooting is enough, but killing huge specimens will require more effort.
Dinosaurs will not be the only threat to the protagonist, who is Sheriff Sam Judge. The trailer also shows hostile humanoid monsters.
A bit about the plot of Son and Bone is revealed in the game description:
"When a local farm in Patchwork, Montana is attacked by a known group of bandits, Sheriff Sam Judge sets out to bring them to justice and rescue the hostage they have taken. However, during the expedition, due to the mysterious motivations of the people he is pursuing, Sam is transported to another world, dominated by prehistoric creatures and dinosaurs, and now he must fight for his life to return to Earth."
The game is scheduled to debut in 2024 on the PS5 console, although it is possible that it will also hit other platforms. The exact premiere date for Son and Bone is unknown.
