Second Patch for Songs of Conquest Makes the Game Easier
Songs of Conquest, the spiritual successor to the Heroes of Might and Magic series, has just received patch 0.75.4. It fixes many bugs and makes playing on low difficulty easier.
Inspired by the Heroes of Might and Magic series, Songs of Conquest has become a bestseller on Steam shortly after last week's release in early access. No wonder then that the developers of the game - Swedish studio Lavapotion - are eagerly continuing the development of their work. The game has just received update 0.75.4.
Patch 0.75.4
Patch 0.75.4 to Songs of Conquest is now available for download. You can read the full list of changes here. The most important new features include the following:
- From now on AI-controlled enemies will be easier to defeat on low difficulty.
- Lowered difficulty level of 3rd and 4th mission of Stouthearts' Song campaign.
- All spells can now be viewed and studied in the Codex..
- Introduced a tutorial on Momentum mechanics.
- Most likely prevented buildings from becoming invisible. (the developers ask to report them if this bug still occurs).
- Fixed a bug that caused a crash to the desktop when one or more save files were corrupted.
- Implemented a confirmation pop-up when pressing the campaign progress reset button in the options menu.
Improved localization and guard towers
Language localizations have also been improved, and garrison troops supplied by guard towers have been doubled. Finally, it is worth mentioning that a mission restart button has been added on the defeat screen and in the game menu when completing missions in the campaign.
