SnowRunner Gets Giant Vehicle and New Maps

We have learned some details about the second season of the off-road simulator SnowRunner. It will offer, among others, new maps, vehicles and objects.

SEASON 2 IS, AMONG OTHER THINGS...:
  • Two maps,
  • Three vehicles,
  • New crafting mechanics,
  • New vehicle customization options.

Saber Interactive revealed details of the second season of SnowRunner. It will be launched on November 16, this year, simultaneously on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Additional content will be made available to owners of the season pass and premium edition of the title, but can also be purchased separately.

Season 2: Explore & Expand, as goes the full name of the second phase of the game, will offer two additional maps, located in the Yukon region (North-west Canada). We will find there snowy valleys, deep rivers and dangerous muddy slopes, among other things. This will be accompanied by a new crafting mechanic, allowing for the construction of processing facilities.

Three additional vehicles will be added. Among them will be a CAT 770G, which will dwarf all currently existing machines in SnowRunner. The second season will also introduce new vehicle customization options. Importantly, it will also be possible to use them in old models.

At the same time as the paid second season, the game will also receive free content, available to all game owners. Existing maps will receive new missions. There will also be new challenges and machine decoration options that were not available before.

As a reminder, SnowRunner was released on April 20, this year, simultaneously on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The game was warmly received. The PC version has average rating of 81% on Metacritic. The console editions boasted the same results.
