Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts with 25 Contracts and Improved CryEngine
We learned a few new things about Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts. Fresh concretes concern such aspects of the game as the number of contracts, possible DLC, and the graphics engine.
Wccftech has published an interview with one of the developers working on Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts, the fourth installment of the sniper shooter series from CI Games. Thanks to that we learned a few new things about the game.
The game will offer about 25 contracts, some missions can take up to an hour to complete, while others will be much shorter. There will also be numerous optional side missions. In addition, most of the tasks can be done in many different ways to encourage multiple playthroughs of some maps. The game should last for a long time, especially since it will also have a multiplayer mode.
At the moment, the devs are not able to confirm whether the game will receive a DLC with new content, but they admit that add-ons with new contracts seem to be a good idea.
Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 tried to offer an extensive storyline with cinematic momentum, but the end result left much to be desired. Therefore, the scenario will play a much smaller role in Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts. The contracts will connect the main thread, but the game will not put much emphasis on this element of fun.
Like the two previous installments of the series, the game will use CryEngine technology. The devs have made some improvements to the engine. They did not focus only on beautifying the graphics and put a lot of effort into shortening of loading times.
Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts is coming to PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and will debut this year.
