Of course, he'll try to do the same to us.
The game will abandon the open-world premise from the third installment in favor of independent missions. However, each of them will be a small sandbox, offering a lot of freedom in terms methods for the main task and a rich set of side contracts. Each order will be designed so that it can be replayed without feeling bored.
A system of masks filled with futuristic gadgets will diversify the fun. They will provide a number of useful features, such as searching for footprints of patrols on the ground. There will also be a lot of mechanics to improve them.
Despite the emphasis on contracts, the story campaign will have a main theme. So far, the devs are not ready to reveal the details and have limited themselves to stating that the scenario will revolve around the masks.
