Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 Gets Free DLC Called Butcher's Banquet
The free DLC Butcher's Banquet for Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 is now available on PC and consoles. On the occasion of its release, CI Games prepared a new trailer.
Today, Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts 2, the successful tactical shooter from CI Games, received a free DLC titled Butcher's Banquet. Offering a new region, the expansion launched as an update on PC and consoles. Below, you can watch a fresh trailer, prepared by the developers to celebrate the release of the expansion.
Released as part of Butcher's Banquet the area, similar to those in the base game, is located in the fictional Kuamara - a country between Syria and Libya. It's full of deceptively beautiful scenery, including oases, waterfalls, and temples, but beneath that alluring aesthetic lies a new threat in the form of Mahmoud Zarza, the titular Butcher. He and his accomplices will be our main targets in the DLC. More information about the expansion can be found here.
It's also worth mentioning that on August 24 Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 on PlayStation 4 will receive a free update, upgrading the title to a version dedicated to PlayStation 5 (which is currently only playable through backward compatibility). In addition to faster load times, improved textures and higher resolution - there will be a performance mode (60fps at 2K) and a visual mode (30fps at 4K) - the developers will add support for DualSense's adaptive triggers tailored separately for each weapon. What's more, the physical release of the title includes the paid DLC Crossbow Carnage, which adds a crossbow, a 550 TRV shotgun, a Mad Scheriff 9 revolver, a Car K8 assault rifle, Zebra skins and a new map.
To celebrate the release of the Butcher's Banquet DLC the basic version of Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 can be purchased with a 25% discount on Steam, among others.
