Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 delayed again, but still due in April
Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is going to launch three weeks later than expected - on April 25. The game's developers need some more time to implement feedback received during the recent beta.
Sniper Ghost Warrior 3, another installment in a first-person shooter series from Polish company CI Games, has been delayed once more. The game is not coming out on April 4, 2017, as we previously heard, but three weeks later – on April 25. This date marks the simultaneous release on all platforms: PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
Why another delay? Turns out that the development team needs a bit more time to implement improvements based on players’ feedback from the recent beta. What specific features, they didn’t say, but it sounds pretty reasonable. If this means getting a better experience, it’s probably worth waiting three more weeks, isn’t it?
Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 features an action-packed campaign, in which you play as a marksman sent on a military mission to Georgia. The game supports three valid play styles: that of a sniper, ghost (stealth), and warrior (go in guns blazing). This installment offers more freedom of action – you can eliminate your targets in multiple ways – larger environments, more side quests as well as elements of survival and crafting. Unlike it’s biggerst rival – Sniper Elite 4, which launched on February 14 – Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 features only single player experience.
