As announcemed on Monray, studio Colossal Order released today another update to Cities: Skylines II. Hotfix numbered 1.0.13f1 introduces a total of eighteen fixes, and mainly focuses on issues related to garbage and stray dogs.

  1. "Production" of garbage has been balanced - they now accumulate evenly, making it easier to dispose of them.
  2. The city will no longer be "flooded" with waves of abandoned animals.

In addition, the list of changes includes:

  1. balancing the incinerator's electricity needs;
  2. fixing various problems related to character apparel;
  3. balancing water consumption in many service buildings;
  4. unifying the rules for parking fees at subway stations (even though they are devoid of parking spaces);
  5. streamlining traffic - including the way cars change lanes and leave traffic circles (with left-hand traffic);
  6. getting rid of a glitch that caused bright windows to randomly appear in some vehicles;
  7. improving the performance of Microsoft's cloud.

You can check out all the changes here. Note that waste messages may not display correctly on pre-existing save game files. To remedy this, the building in question needs to be re-built. For gameplay saves created after installing the update, this problem should not occur.

Cities: Skylines II is available exclusively on PC for now - including on PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Next spring, the title is expected make its way to PS5 and XSX/S.
