Skyrim Together Reborn Completed; Release Date Revealed
The developers of Skyrim Together Reborn have announced the mod's release date. Multiplayer gameplay mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition will launch in just a few days.
We are only a few days away from the release of Skyrim Together Reborn, a modification that will add multiplayer mode to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition.
- The developers have announced that the mod will debut on July 8.
- Skyrim Together Reborn will only support the game's Steam edition, updated to version 1.6. There are no plans to support the Game Pass edition, console versions or VR editions.
- Initially, the creators intended to release a beta version first, but they managed to make a number of improvements at the last minute, and therefore the edition, which will be released this Friday, will be a full release right away, numbered 1.0
- The mod will be released in open-source model, so that other fans can expand it themselves without any restrictions.
The project was conceived as a sequel to the older mod called Skyrim Together, whose servers have just been shut down.
The plans originally included an analogous mod for Fallout 4, but for the time being it has receded into the background so that the developers can fully devote themselves to work on Skyrim Together Reborn. Project Fallout Together has not been abandoned, however, and one of the main team members, Dragonisser, recently returned to work on it. He notes that for the time being he is the only one working on the modification, but hopes that this will change soon. He also hopes that the open-source nature of Skyrim Together Reborn will lead to the development of many improvements by other creators, which he will then be able to use in Fallout Together.
